MS Dhoni – Worlds Tenth Most Marketable Athlete

Captain cool Mahinder Singh Dhoni has been ranked tenth among the ‘50 Most Marketable Athlete of the World’ by the sports magazine Sports Pro in June 2011 edition. In the same list world’s fastest man Usain Bolt is on top followed by American Basketball player LeBron James and footballer Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal on second and third position. Dhoni has been rated above the world’s number one tennis player Rafael Nadal who has been ranked sixteenth. Beside Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh is the only cricketer who has made to this list and has been ranked 49th.

This might be the co-incidence only that after winning the World Cup this year, Dhoni was in the list of ‘Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people of the world. And now after making Chennai Super Kings the Champions of IPL 4 he is in Sports Pro’s list.
